A reply to Mr. IfrahimReader comment on item: Who was the Prophet Muhammad? Submitted by Faisal (Saudi Arabia), May 14, 2011 at 11:34 I wonder if Mr. Ifrahim's brain is frozen from Canadian below zero weather. In Mr. Ifrahim's previous posting, he accused me of mis-quoting or quoting out of context from Bible. In my reply, I requested very humbly to show me a single proof of me wrongly quoting from the bible. Instead of replying to my posting, Mr. Ifrahim has criticized few of the versus from Quran by just giving few verse numbers from Quran. I feel pity for Mr. Ifrahim for his ignorance and his hit and run tactics. Unlike Mr. Ifrahim, I am going to answer word by word and number by number to all unfounded criticisms. Sura 9:29 – By mentioning this verse, Mr. Ifrahim says that Quran condones indiscriminate killing of other people including the people of books. I feel pity for you Mr. Ifrahim. My reply:- This verse does not condone killing indiscriminately. This verse clearly explains what Muslim armies should do if they are in war with an aggressor. Even during war, there are conditions that Muslims must follow such as they must not kill children, ladies, old men, destroy trees or kill animal and so on. Unfortunately, the Bible clearly condones indiscriminate killing of innocent people. Let us look at few dangerous quotes from bible. 1- Deuteronomy 20:16 :- However, in the cities of the nations the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, do not leave alive anything that breathes. It is certainly the Bible's principle and foundation to kill all humans and animals from the enemy's side. If one wouldn't call that terrorism, war crimes and mass-murdering, then what else should they call it? 2- Samuel 15:2-4:- 2 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt. 3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass. 4 And Saul gathered the people together, and numbered them in Telaim, two hundred thousand footmen, and ten thousand men of Judah. A praise for dashing little children against rocks as a form of revenge: Psalm 137:8-9:- 8 O daughter of Babylon, O destroyed one, O the happiness of him who repayeth to thee thy deed, That thou hast done to us. 9 O the happiness of him who doth seize, And hath dashed thy sucklings on the rock! I find it to be absolutely ridiculous that the bible feeds us all kinds of lies and contradictions about "love your enemy", and yet, we see mass slaughter of suckling infants and innocent boys, girls, unarmed men, women (old and young), and innocent domestic farm animals by the tens of thousands! It is clear that the inconsistent man-altered, man-corrupted and morally corrupt bible is nothing but a false book, and can not be a Divine and Perfect Holy Book! I challenge any Jews or Christians to produce ONE, JUST ONE Noble Verse from the Muslims' Noble Quran that condones killing of innocent children, women or even hostile enemy men who drop their weapons before Muslims (surrender). Sura 4:24:- Mr. Ifrahim's second accusation is that Quran condones forced adultery by mentioning a mere verse number Sura 4:24. My Reply:- Nowhere in this verse quran condones adultery. All this verse is saying that a female who does not want to live under a non-muslim may leave her husband and a muslim can help her by marrying her. It absolutely makes sense. It is a freedom given to a female who does not want to live oppressed by a non muslim. Now let us take a look at how Bible condones adultery. I hate to post some of these passages from Bible which is really embarrassing and vulgar. But I feel that I need to do it just to teach some bible lessons to Mr. Ifrahim. David and Bathsheba the wife of Uriah:- Samuel 11:2-5:- And it came to pass, after the year was expired, at the time when kings go forth to battle, that David sent Joab, and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the children of Ammon, and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried still at Jerusalem. 2 And it came to pass in an evening tide, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king's house: and from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon. 3 And David sent and inquired after the woman. And one said, Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite? 4 And David sent messengers, and took her; and she came in unto him, and he lay with her; for she was purified from her uncleanness: and she returned unto her house. 5 And the woman conceived, and sent and told David, and said, I am with child. Lot and his daughters:- Genesis 19: 30-38: 30 And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters. 31 And the firstborn said unto the younger, Our father is old, and there is not a man in the earth to come in unto us after the manner of all the earth: 32 Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father. 33 And they made their father drink wine that night: and the firstborn went in, and lay with her father; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose. 34 And it came to pass on the morrow, that the firstborn said unto the younger, Behold, I lay yesternight with my father: let us make him drink wine this night also; and go thou in, and lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father. 35 And they made their father drink wine that night also: and the younger arose, and lay with him; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose. 36 Thus were both the daughters of Lot with child by their father. 37 And the first born bare a son, and called his name Moab: the same is the father of the Moabites unto this day. 38 And the younger, she also bare a son, and called his name Benammi: the same is the father of the children of Ammon unto this day. Very disturbing story, two daughters of great Prophet (sa) Lot get their father drunk, and both of them have sex with him, each getting pregnant by their own father! What is the moral of this story? There is none! This is pure filth and absolute garbage. You can never teach this to any child. Great prophet Lot would never do something like this. These are all fabricated stories in the Bible. Mr. Ifrahim, I can give you many more stories from Bible similar to this that condones not only adultery but also incest. Next accusation of Mr. Ifrahim on Quran is that Prophet Muhammed (sa) died before Quran was compiled. What a lie Mr. Ifrahim? Physical compilation of Quran was done immediately after the death of Prophet (sa). But There were 1000s of companions of Prophet (sa) who memorized Quran in entirety before prophet Muhammed (sa) died. Even today there are millions of Quran memorizers around the world. Even my 12 year old nephew has memorized the entire Quran. Another accusation of Mr. Ifrahim is that "Quran misrepresented Mother of our SAVIOR, Jesus Christ as sister of Prophet Musa & Aron." Mr. Ifrahim, are you familiar with any holy books. I know that you know nothing about Quran. But at least learn Bible. In the New Testament at least 10 times Jesus (sa) is called "Jesus the son of David". How can a person who died 1000 years ago be father of Jesus. I am sure by now you know my answer to your very cheap allegation. If you have any answers to me or any Muslims, just don't throw some baseless accusations without proof. I wish you would open your heart and start to learn about Islam through its basic doctrines; not from some criticisms written by Evangelists. -Faisal
