It was very informative. But I think that the reason that the administration wants the elections to proceed is to let Iraqi people know that they can vote and determine their future . It is important for Iraqis to know this is not a false goal the US is using to pacify the country. I also think that, although the Kurds and some others want to delay the elections for good reasons, there are others, like many Sunni leaders, who don't want elections and will use "a short delay" to gain this end.
