How Israel was really founded

I completely agree with the article on how Israel came into being. It presents a view and perspective that few people are aware of amidst all the hype and false claims surrounding the beginning stages of the building of Israel. Israel never stole the land from those who owned it at the end of the nineteenth century and early twentieth centuries. Israel bought the land. That was why the Jewish National Fund was established, to buy farm by farm, house by house, dunam by dunam, all the land it could buy for the purpose of establishing a free, democratic society where Jews could live in peace and security.

This is an article that all those who believe that Israel "stole" the land should read and understant. In addition, I would recommend Joan Peters' book, From Time Immemorial, which adresses these issues.
