Ugly menifestation is the right way to describe Gilad Shalit's plight

Dear Dr Pipes:

Hamas affiliated Ar-Risala website is shameless if they boast about Gilad Shalit keeping ramadan fast. Islamic history is full of instances when vanquished kings were offered "convert or die" deals. Islamic history is also full of instances when people were killed in when they did not take the deal. What deal did his killers offer Daniel Pearl? What deal did Daniel Pearl refuse to accept and had to die. Have Hamas ever heard of Stockholm syndrome. I wish that Gilad Shalit comes out of his captivity safely. His life will never be the same but I hope that he never develops sympathy with his captors.
