Bewildered by world view of Israel

Firstly I have great admiration for Mr. Pipes patience and forbearance in dealing with these people. Other than Mr. Minchin, all the panelists (and others) were anti-Israeli (anti-semitic), distorted facts about Israel (and America), and attacked him several times.

I wish someone could explain to me how the world cannot see that this tiny oil-poor nation (which did not receive any significant financial aid from US until 1974-along with Egypt) has been under attack since it's inception, is surrounded by enemies 50 times it's population, 22 enemy armies and has been threatened with annihilation by Iran which funds its neighboring enemies Hamas and Hezbollah etc etc. I don't know any other country that would defend itself with as much restraint and concern for its enemies civilian population as Israel has.
