How are you safer?

All you did was bomb millions more Muslims and plunge them into political violence, and leave them more and more bitter towards the West.

The Taliban were unpopular in 2001 but are now regrouping and being seen as national heroes.

When will you admit that dealing with 9/11 with violence is a paradox because it was caused by Western violence itself?

The article of yours I note the most is the 1991 "Why Arabs Aren't Rioting" in which you encouraged further military action against Iraq, no matter how many Iraqis died because you were convinced Arab outcry would be minimal. You also made a similar comparison to 1982 in Lebanon.

I wonder, have you drawn the relation of 1982 and 1991 with 9/11?

9/11 itself could have been stopped in the first place had you taken terrorist threats seriously. Stepping up security is a good way to feel safer, I agree with that much, but starting more wars and harassment of Muslims will only give Al Qaeda and Al Zhawahiri a propaganda boost for recruitment to the cause.
