The Muhammedians were pirating American and European shipping, stealing the cargo,and ransoming the people on board. They call themselves many names; the Moors, Derbenshires, Shites, Sunnis, Al queda, etc,etc,etc. I am reminded of a line from the now legacy rock group Blood, Sweat,and Tears, "Whats confusing you is just the nature of my game..". We no longer conflate the "Muslim", and "Islam" into the generalized term of "Muhammedism". Although we have no qualms about Catholic, Presbyterian, Protestant, etc into "Christian", the followers of Muhammed become quite exercised when refered to by their founders' monacre perhaps its just the nature of their game.....
