Egyptians fail the Democracy testReader comment on item: The Attack on Israel's Embassy in Cairo Submitted by trans-parere (Canada), Oct 7, 2011 at 20:01 If you can attach an emotional "moralism" to any political authoritarianism -the liberal mob will work hardest to ensure that tyranny. We don't need Egypt as an example. An honest look at the march on Wall Street movement and Obama's vocal support for that to win the next election is enough. That Egyptian liberals are equally gullible and easily manipulated is no surprise. I remember Russians bemoaning 'glasnost' and their new democracy while wishing for the return of Stalinism and the comfort of being 'directed' through every stage of life.
