Well said, Dr. PipesReader comment on item: Palestinians Don't Deserve Additional Aid Submitted by Greg (United States), Dec 23, 2004 at 21:26 "...the outside world should focus not on showering money or other benefits on the Palestinian Arabs, but on pushing them relentlessly to accept Israel's existence."Exactly--all money and benefits should end. Until that happens, their rallying cry to eliminate Israel is far too profitable to change. Slightly off topic: Which organizations actually receive this aid? How do we ensure that the terrorist organizations don't get it? Or, is it a foregone conclusion that terrorist organizations do get it? In regard to the recent $20 million aid package the Bush Administration plans to give to the Palestinians, is it true this money is specifically to pay the Palestinians' utility bill (owed to Israel)? Could this be a crafty win-win for the U.S. in that we are giving the money directly to Israel and advertising it (and getting credit for it) as aid to the Palestinians? I'm assuming the Palestinians have never paid any money to Israel for their utilities anyway.
