You are wrongReader comment on item: Tehran holds Obama re-election wild card [in Iraq] Submitted by hetant (Ireland), Dec 23, 2011 at 19:28 Obama is not and will never be Carter. Don't know if you are american or not, americans are all aware what the wars are costing them, more today than yesterday. They might sanction Obama on his handle of economy but they will not sanction him for ending the Iraq war (of course there are those who will always sanction him no matter what he does about Iraq). I think that Iran will not be even a factor in 2012. Iran (which I consider to be in his right to do what ever they want to do i.e. arm themselves, seek nuclear power etc) will be wise not to antagonize America (in military terms). I will not enter the goestrategy argumentation here as you seems to see things from only "one narrow angle". Trust me, I'm not a fan of Obama as such, he has some wild card in hand as well, more than you think he does. Peace
