Get real!Reader comment on item: Tehran holds Obama re-election wild card [in Iraq] Submitted by James Budd (United States), Jan 4, 2012 at 12:38 What you say here is nothing new. But let me ask you a question, do you really think that only America wants Peace, Freedom, Social Equality, etc? The last villain in the world doing his evil things always talks about peace, freedom, etc. In history of humanity hitherto good and bad always have same agenda but the means is opposite. Gersonides said many years ago, "A peace that comes from fear and not from the heart is the opposite of peace." We need talking here about prevention over intervention; what the real reason(s) is in order to get rid of this menace - Iran (BTW for the last 30 years). Just for a second imagine if your next door neighbor, who for last 30 years have never said hello and constantly behaves belligerently toward you and your loved ones, suddenly bought Kalashnikov in a new just open town-store... What will you do - the only adult man in the house - before the peaceful night comes in? Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
