Israeli Left and Post Modernism to be Left Behind.Reader comment on item: Remarkable Israel Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Feb 16, 2012 at 19:12 Israel has a history of 'being in the middle of it all,' from the time of the Philistines in the ancient days to the 'Palestinians' of today. While we may not look at the former wealth of Israel in ancient times as typical of the luxuries we presume are resident in modern societies like America, Israel was characterized by her Almighty God as being rich, so rich that they fell from serving Him in obedience and left themselves open to the Babylonian deportations and Roman conquest. During the time of the first appearance of their Messiah, which many in these times will dismiss as being characterizations of a Christian conspiracy or some other deception, the very same attitudes were prevalent as witnessed by the Pharisees (ultra religious), Sadducees (secularists), and Herodians (politicians?) with whom Yeshua engaged in arguments of the power structure of the time leading the Jewish general population astray from the truth of their promises. Relatively speaking, the class separation evidently in Israel today has similarities of the same values being fought over politically and are destined to put Israel in the middle of the quandary: what do they do now? The Israeli left and the 'post modernist' ideology that appears to keep Israel from achieving her true destiny, in part, is responsible for what the world is seeing today; an opening on the part of the enemy to exert their desire to eliminate Israel from the face of the earth. When they get the gumption up to try, then we will see just how remarkable her LORD Almighty God has made Israel.
