The real question is why is Korea now far ahead of Egypt in the period between 1952 and 2012 can be best answered by Khalid Ikram's great book: The Egyptian Economy 1952-2000

and the reasons are not that simple but the real question is what should Mohamed Morsi do to improve the lot of most Egyptians? I think he should start by reading this book but I doubt it very much as he is too busy praying and reading the Qur'an
