The amazing Muslim mindReader comment on item: Egypt's Sixty Years of Misery Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Aug 7, 2012 at 16:22 Dr. Pipes I wanted to bring to your attention the fact that the Saudis are not very happy because it seems that in the Islamic TV cable channels (financed by the Saudis) and in most Mosques in Egypt and the rest of the arab world the sermons are full of calls for the destruction of the Jews and the Christians which is not surprising in its self but it is getting to be too much for the delicate Saudi ears and in an article in UPI http://arabic.upi.com/Social_Issues/2012/08/07/UPI-93791344338146/ dated 8/7/2012 titled: The Suadi authorities warn the Imams of mosques not to pray for the destruction of the Jews and the Christians! Amazing! What is most amazing is a comment made by a reader of this article by the glorious name of dafnhom or to bury them! and it says: نعم صحيح فاليهود والنصارى اي التورات والأنجيل كتب سماوية ولايجوز الدعاء عليهم بالتعميم انما يجوز الدعاء على الصفويين والمجوس لانهم مذاهب قذره which I would read as: yes this is true because the Jews and the Christians or the Tawrat (read this as the OT) and al-injeel (read this as the NT) are books from heaven (read this as Allah is the author of both the OT and NT) and it is not allowed to pray upon them (read this as to ask Allah for the destruction of the Jews and the Christians) in general but it is allowed to pray for (the destruction) of the safawyeen (read this as the Iranian Shia) and the Zoroastrians because these are dirty sects (read this as religions) This remind me of the classical movie "Blazing Saddles" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071230/ where the fathers of this mythical city were trying to see who is to be included in their "tolerant city" and then we have the great line where every ethnic community is named by some racist slur (as in the case of using the N word for black people and the K word for the Jews) but the fathers of the city had to find a group to exclude and it is: "Every one is welcome but not the Irish."! I guess islam being islam some one has to be hated So much for the religion of peace Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
