non Arab Muslims can be rather pro IsraelReader comment on item: Jews and Muslims Switch Sides Submitted by Shishir (United Arab Emirates), Jul 28, 2012 at 03:03 What many of the posters seem to forget is that not just Arab Muslims but Arab Christians are deeply hostile to Israel. This may be due to the narcissism of small differences, where two peoples Arabs and Jews who have much in common tend to be at loggerheads than with a more distant adversary. Turks(until recently), anti Khomeinist Iranian Muslims(the bulk of Irans population) as well as Central Asian Muslims,Kurds and African Muslims range from indifferent to Israel to outright Zionists! One can lump Indian and Pakistani Muslims with Arabs as they tend to march in lockstep with whatever their fellow adherents from the land of Muhammad propagate. Even in SE Asia, it is only recently that crackpot anti Semites like Mahathir Mohammad et al have come to the fore due to the shocks that still reverberate from 1997 financial crisis which Mahathir not unreasonably ascribes to the Dr Evil type individual "Jew" George Soros(an embarrasment to Jews as among other his other misdeeds he was a Nazi collaborator) So while the Arab world gradually descends into chaos, economic ,cultural and geopolitical irrelevance in no small part due to the paranoid anti Semitism that pervades their societies(just witness the recent Candid camera style set up where Arabs interviewees react with a rage bordering on lunacy upon being (mis)informed that the TV station was Israeli),militarily strong, economically dynamic and culturally productive Israel can look forward to enjoying that the support of Kurdish majority Turkey and Northern Iraq (perhaps even in bifurcated Syria),Central Asian goodwill and African gratitude for the foreign aid that was provided by Israel. Coming back to the pro Pal/pro hijab Israelis and Jews ,one has to remember many Jews in the arts and media are leftists first and foremost, so their opinion is not representative of Israel in particular or Jews in general. The future for Israel may not be as not as bleak as some believe (or would like to believe)
