Three things will help you understand, PrashantReader comment on item: Jews and Muslims Switch Sides Submitted by sara (United States), Jul 29, 2012 at 18:09 Prashant, It is indeed a deeply puzzling issue that I myself have wrestled with and pondered over the years. I can give you three items that really helped me to understand: 1. David Horowitz's book Unholy Alliance: Radical Islam and the American Left http://www.amazon.com/Unholy-Alliance-Radical-Islam-American/dp/089526076X 2. Ayaan Hirsi Ali's book Infidel http://www.amazon.com/Infidel-Ayaan-Hirsi-Ali/dp/0743289684 3. Evan Sayet- comedy video that I watched numerous times because it helped me so much to understand the basic orientation of the left, to make everything and everyone equal with the implicit goal of stopping war and violence. If all are equal, there is nothing to fight about. Unfortunately, they ignore the fact that there are differences between us, and they should be recognized and celebrated and the understanding and respect for differences are what makes real peace possible. Everyone wants to celebrate diversity but give it lip service only. Watch it and let me know what you think: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eaE98w1KZ-c
