Heating up indeedReader comment on item: Post-Mortem on the Muhammad Protests Submitted by Darwin Barrett (United States), Oct 2, 2012 at 13:55 Adherents to Islam now comprise 23% of the population of the earth (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_religious_populations). Almost one in four people on the face of the earth are Muslims. If only 10% are Islamists that is still 150 million people which makes a pretty sizable force. The issue missed by most people is that 100% of Muslims want Islam to prevail. That is human nature. Everyone wants their team, or side to win. So what you see in the news, rioting, carrying signs, acting out, is the 10%. What is the role of the silent majority of Muslims? Just that. Silent. They turn a blind eye, but they are there, ever present, watching and waiting until Islam has intimidated enough of the non-Muslim population of the earth to drive them into submission. Every riot, every protest, every demonstration, is a statement. Islamic law must be complied with by all inhabitants of the earth. Baring a "Black Swan" event that significantly changes the population balance, Islam will most likely succeed in its quest for world domination. The only question is when?
