You are so right, Batya. I had deep doubts when this whole "Arab Spring" thing came to be. All it amounted to was a new guard wresting control from an old guard, all of them having absolutely nothing in common with the freedoms of the West. News article after news article has clearly stated exactly how the "leaders" of these movements feel -- they want to impose a fundamentalist Islamic creed on their individual nations and, ultimately, the world. What is so unbelievable is that these things are reported, perhaps even when there is no wish to do so by Western journalists, and those things are completely ignored. Now Obama and HIllary want to send even more foreign aid to Egypt, at a time when our own country is in deep trouble. Does this not speak louder than anything how low these people hold the US?

In the end, we will either defend our way of life or we will accept enslavement by the Muslim world. They are the ones who will leave no other choice on the table and to deny that is to deny all recent history in the Muslim world.
