Reader comment on item: Impressions of the Veep Debate

Submitted by Michael (United States), Oct 12, 2012 at 11:16

Considering the constant rudeness, snarkiness and hostility of Republicans and conservative commentators, this criticism is the pot calling the kettle black. As for foreign policy, Ryan gave no indication (none, zero, nada) that a Romney administration would do anything different than Obama going forward. He only said that he wouldn't have SAID things the same way IN THE PAST, but not that the actual policy differed. And he refused several opportunities to provide details on his budget plan. For a numbers wonk, the lack of clarity and specificity suggests that the numbers are either fantasy, or they are hiding something more devastating.
