Reader comment on item: Impressions of the Veep Debate

Submitted by Alana (Canada), Oct 12, 2012 at 12:49

I prefer a stance one candidate genuinely laughing at this "whippersnapper"'s factoids than earnest fear-mongering and veiled disrespect of a seasoned, experienced man who has proven his integrity and depth of understanding and real ability to relate to his fellow man because of his character, his personal experience of loss, and heart-felt empathy with the increasing numbers of homeless, jobless, and disenfranchised citizens who are angry and bewildered at their country's failure to help them achieve their American dream.

Ryan's smugness and true arrogance are revealed with some cursory glances at the atrocious vanity of his posing while flexing biceps and other muscles in the recent work out pix. Not only speaking to a glaring lack of judgement for allowing this material to circulate, but reminding one that the muscles Americans need are those from the neck up, as most notably evident in the past record of physically challenged president Roosevelt and, to a lesser extent, Kennedy.
