does anyone else see the "proto-dictatorial mentality" parallel?

These autocratic ways are growing over time."

Obama has [successfully] challenged the independent judiciary [Supreme Ct - Care Act and at State of Union]; fostered nonsensical conspiracy theories [e.g. bengazi video]; issued preposterous fines against unfriendly companies [e.g. energy producers, Gibson Guitar].
