Poor Palestinian's. & their supporters.Reader comment on item: Debate about possible war between Israel and Hamas Submitted by Gerald Kreaden (Canada), Nov 13, 2012 at 18:08 I cannot help but be incredulous at the vitriol spouted by the Hamas spokesperson and the chap from London, during this interview. Although Mr. Pipes came out with some facts and reasoning about why Israel attacked Gaza, I think he should have mentioned more forcibly that reasons Israel cannot stand aside while Hamas lobs rockets into Israeli territory. The palestinians are being held hostage by their own leaders, that by their own inaction, they are being victimized once again. In all the modern wars that have occurred in the past 100 years, all except the Palestinians were resettled in neighboring countries or were accepted as immigrants to the Americas. Why are the Palestinians the only group that will never be resettled in neighbouring states ?? My thinking is that their Arab cousins don't want their troubles being introduced into their countries. Jordan is a prime example of this, when not too long ago, the Arab Legion waged war against them because of their troublesome actions when they were living in Jordan. Mr. Pipes could have mentioned that there is over a million Arabs still living in Israel. Which by itself, throws the two commentators discussion into disrepute, to anyone that has any knowledge of Israel and its governance policies. Ask any Israeli Arab whether he would want to live in the WestBank under Arab rule, and you will get their answers. A Big Fat NO. Way. I know, as I asked a few of them when I was there in 2010.
