Evidence and reply to Amin Riaz and his propagandaReader comment on item: Debate about possible war between Israel and Hamas Submitted by Lee Kaplan (United States), Nov 15, 2012 at 20:16 Submitted by Amin Riaz (United Kingdom), Nov 14, 2012 at 21:34 "The phony human rights activist" How was he phony - I remember asking this . . - - -He was a phony because he accused only Israel of human rights violations while ignoring missiles fired into Israel. The interview was a one-sided propaganda show put on by RT,Can you sow me one instance where he complained of Human Rights violations against Israelis by the Arabs? "Human Rights Watch is funded by Saudi Arabia and even has Fatima Ayub on its Board who calls the Taliban and Al Qaeda "freedom fighters" against the US. " Evidence? Not that any evidence will convince you, but http://online.wsj.com/article/SB124528343805525561.html Fatima Ayub at Oho Stte Palsolidarity conference in 2003 gave a speech praising the "freedom fighters" fighting American troops in Afghanistan and Iraq. - - - "And what kind of fool would say the Qassem rockets hardly EVER do any damage???Google Afik Zahavi you insensitive thing. The missiles have killed not just Jews but Israeli Arabs also. Is it ok if I throw rocks at you because I think they hardly would ever hurt you and that this would justify your not defending yourself? Ridiculous." Hence - why does IDF fire rubber bullets – Arabs throw rocks with Slingshots as deadly as bullets. Rubber bullets are usually nonlethal. Israel tries to use nonlethal weapons when soldiers are confronted nearly daily by stone throwing Arabs. Googling Afik Zahavi - proves nothing . . . if it did you would have done the job yourself - and pasted realms at me.- I think you mean "reams"..in any case, there are reams of casualties. You show your insensitivity to Afik who was a miracle baby born by artificial insemnination after his parents tried 15 years to conceive. Your dismissal of Qassems as non-deadly are idiotic. "Gaza was home to three Jewish communities before 1948 lost to Egypt." Actually it was more than that . . . but so what? They were NOT sovereign of that land. - - -Nor were the so-called "Palestinians." Jews bought their land though and it was theirs legally. Gaza was part of Biblical Israel. Gaza was Egypt prior to 1967. Israel deported 8,000 Jews from communities that were built on sand dunes that didn't belong to anyone prior to the building. Still, Israel deported all the Jews to show they wanted peace. Biblical - being the operative word . . . if you are going THAT back . . then according to the OT - Jews were the outsiders settling into Israel . . . and NOT the original inhabitants of that place. So using your logic, the Palestinians of today are not really refugees who have a right to land claimed of the Jews. Majority are third generation Arabs... - - - "Businesses were left behind that employed the Palestinians when they were owned by Jews but the Arabs looted and destroyed everything, even synagogues when the Jews left. " Right . . . and there were homes after homes destroyed to make way for Jews in the 1st place. Then SOVEREIGNTY was imposed upon the rest. The above is an outright lies. Jews did not destroy Arab homes to make way for Jews. That's a myth..Jews were refugees from Arab lands in greater numbers than the Arabs too. 171, 000 Arabs were repatriated to Israel between 1952-82 who could prove they lost property in 1948.After 1948 Israel set up office to administer abandoned property.Settlements are built on former Jordanian crown land. Not Arab homes. You need deeds there same as elsewhere in the world. A state that is NOT secular - but homeland for Jews. Israel is a secular state. The only difference for Jews is automatic citizenship. Non-Jews can apply for citizenship. You are ignorant and recite the propaganda from the anti-Israel crowd. Of course 22 Arab Muslim states are not enough for beloved Arab friends...The Arab states are all Muslim theocracies. I don't hear objections from you about that. - - - "The settlements were never illegal under the UN but legal per Resolution 242 per Eugene Rostow who wrote it. You repeat the Big LIE TECHNIQUE. Keep repeating the Big Lie until people believe it's true. The settlements are not illegal. After 1967 Israel took back settlements lost in the West Bank in 1948 too." huh? It is simple . . . prove it? If it is such a lie. Here's proof and Rostow wrote Resolution 242. I assume your fingers are broken and you cannot use Google and rely only on Pali propaganda websites: http://www.tzemachdovid.org/Facts/islegal1.shtml - - - "The other Big Lie is that Jews from the US are the ones who comes and build settlements in the West Bank. The majority of Israelis in the West Bank are from Israel. " Hang on . . . "majority"! Even YOU admit that Jews from USA go and build settlements there! You said settlements are built for American Jews. Who are you to say where a Jew can or cannot live? In any case, you say Arabs from all over the Arab world have a right to Israeli land but not so Jews is the Diaspora, eh? Some American Jews buy homes there, but very few. Americans prefer Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Stats? To prove how big or small a majority/minority? - - -for you http://www.commentarymagazine.com/article/the-illegal-settlements-myth/ http://www.haaretz.com/print-edition/news/immigration-to-israel-hits-16-244-highest-jump-in-10-years-1.1274 Given the stats quickly found, last year there were 16,000 immigrants from around the world who moved to Israel. Most were Russians. Assuming all were Americans (they weren't) out of 300,000 residents in the West Bank that would be about 5% (but it's much less because few Americans move to the settlements. "Your blind hatred for Jews in the region leads you believe and repeat all manner of propaganda and lies, as did Dr. Pipes opposition in this biased broadcast by the anti-Israel RT." But I don't hate the Jews . . . where did you get that? See - this would suggest "blind hate" is from you . . . for throwing such accusations about. Your B.S. about you don't hate Jews, just the ones who live in the West Bank or Israel whom you would dispossess doesn't fool anyone. It's like saying you don't hate black people because they can live in New York but not Alabama. It's racist thinking and propaganda to deflect from your hatred of Jews. By the way, any one who practices the Jewish faith is a Zionist, the Jews who say they aren't Zionists are not practicing their faith but using ancestry or lying to bolster the anti-Semites they support. I advocate the 2 state solution . . .and that is it. In fact - I think those settlements should stay there - and become part of Palestine. Sounds good. But surely you know the PA and Hamastan both say all of Israel must be Arab and Abbas and PA and Hamas say no Jews can live in a Palestinian state while 20 percent of Israelis are Arabs. Did you know that? Or you live in a vacuum? - - - "By the way, Ken O'Keefe is not that jerk's real name. He's a ripoff artist who embezzles money destined for Palestinians." Evidence? Use Google. O'Keefe is his ex-wife's name, not his. He wrote this himself on his blog. Greta Berlin and others in Free Gaza have stated he embezzled aid money for Gazans. By the way, the British arrested him for fraud about this. - - - "He could only appeal to someone like you who ignores history and facts then pretends to lecture the unknowing," Yet you are surprisingly THIN on facts yourself . . . check if you don't believe me . . . then find the evidence 4 ur claims . . . I've sent them to you. You're too lazy to do research other than to believe whatever crap you read on anti-Israel websites... Else it is YOU making up nonsense. Guess this proves you don't know what the hell you're talking about and support blindly the fascist Palestinians.. How sad...
