Who Owns Palestine

Why does one have to repeat history? Palestine was occupied and controlled by Turkey via the Ottoman Empire. Turkey fought on the side of the Germans in WWI and lost Palestine which was occupied by Jews and Arabs. Once Turkey lost Palestine, it was controlled by Englad under a mandate from the League of Nations under resolutions that stated England was to create both a Jewish State and Arab State. After WWII, the UN carried out the resolutions of the League of Nations and voted to create Israel, the homeland of the Jews for thousands of years, long before Muslims came into existence.

Gaza was no harder to control than the West Bank. Sharon made the unilateral decision to leave Gaza because he believed the Arabs would use this opportunity to build a state, see Israel's good intent and then pursue peace. Sharon did not against the advice of many Israelis who did not believe the Arabs could continue to snatch defeat from the jaws of Victory. The first thing the Arabs did was to destroy the farms the Jews had built, farms purchased from the Israelis with American Jewish money so the Arabs could take over these profitable hydroponic facilities. What they did, the Arabs destroy the farm: they did not want any Jew farms. They would have kept them if they had taken them, as was Jewish property confiscated throughout north Africa and the middle east after the Arabs lost the 1948 war against Israel. Finally, Arafat was offered East Jerusalem, Gaza and most of the West Bank in exchange for other land in Israel. Israel wants borders that it can protect. Even President Clinton could not believe that Arafat, at the last minute, said no, went home and started the intifada, killing Israeli civilians (men, women and children), adding to his list of Jews his organization has murdered. The Arabs continue to lie about what was offered and they continue to fight among themselves, murdering their opponents. They attack Israel, hide among Arabs civilians and then claim they are killed by Israel hunting down the terrorists.
