Yes, we are liberals, so is Benjamin NetanyahuReader comment on item: Obama's Anti-Zionism Submitted by Charlie Hall (United States), Jan 23, 2013 at 00:15 And the Republicans won't get Jewish votes until they abandon their extremist right wing policies. Netanyahu is to the left of Barack Obama on fiscal and economic issues and that reinforces the rationale for us liberals to support Israel. There are many other problems ... Obama gave Israel 100% support where it mattered, when Israel had to go to war with Gaza. Kerry is not hostile to Israel. Brennan is being attacked by the left for being too aggressive at rooting out Islamic terrorists. And while I can't stand Hagel (few liberals can), he has flipflopped even more than Mitt Romney, abandoning every offensive position he had ever taken. Also, the 20 F-16s are irrelevant. Israel has 343 F-16s -- many more than Egypt even with the new purchase -- plus 77 F-15s which are an even better combat aircraft. And the US has agreed to sell Israel the new F-35.
