The Road to Nowhere Still Leads to Nowhere

There is an elected President in Egypt who delights in making anti semitic canards, whose background is an organization that makes no bones about its feelings regarding Americans, The USA, Israel and any Jews in the world. this elected President is working towards the release from prison of one of the arch terrorists in the world. he wants him to be free to loose more mischief in the world and is attempting to have his buddy, our president help by freeing him from his prison.

the President of Egypt speaking openly regarding abbrogating unilaterally a peace treaty between Israel and Egypt for something like forty years. now I read about and see news reports that out line a deal between the USA and Egypt that will give Egypt our latest fighter bombers and supply Egypt with a large amount of our latest Abrams Tanks.

can anyone explain just how an arms deal of this magnitude made it past our congress? is Egypt in any great danger or threat? just how does Egypt plan to utilize these major weapon systems? was this deal made out of sight by our POTUS in yet another end run around congress, by Mr Obama. what exactly is going on? does any one know or even care?
