There shall be no compulsion in religion:Reader comment on item: My Burqa Debate with Martha Nussbaum Submitted by m_s (Saudi Arabia), Feb 19, 2013 at 05:14 The believers of the Islamic countries and other parts of the world are experiencing a rise in women wearing the burqa claiming it to be part of their uncompromising faith in the tenets of Islam, and as the commandment to them from Allah-God-Almighty as the best form of Islamic dress code, when in public. It is worn, 100 percent by intelligence sense of choice and never in the form of force. There needs no debate on the matter ever or voice an opinion, out of one's ignorance or doubts and fears. A burqa is an outer garment worn by sensible, faithful, loyal believing Muslim women (Godly, God-fearing, for the love of Almighty-Allah) with great diligence, distinctly clear in their thoughts or mind, of its blessings, uncompromising, with greatest degree of confidence and stern Islamic faith within all forms of societies for the purpose of concealing their bodies and/or face. It is mostly worn when a woman leaves her home and is compelled to wear it until she returns. The burqa is worn throughout Middle Eastern nations and most Muslim nations around the world. The burgha helps one evade the curse of the world and from the hell-fire in the hereafter, too. Although the word burqa is not to be found anywhere in the Quraan, but as it falls under the heading of hijab which is term used in the Holy Quraan. For women: Cover your chest (24:31); Lengthen your garments (33:59) and for both sexes; The BEST garment is righteousness and modest conduct (7:26). A hijab (barrier) separates them, while the Purgatory is occupied by people who recognise each side by their looks. They will call the dwellers of Paradise: "Peace be upon you." They did not enter (Paradise) through wishful thinking._ [7:46] No human being can communicate with God except through inspiration, or from behind a hijaban (barrier), or by sending a messenger through whom He reveals what He wills. He is the Most High, Most Wise._ [42:51] And tell the believing women to subdue their eyes, and maintain their chastity. They shall not reveal any parts of their bodies, except that which is apparent. They shall cover their chests with their 'khimar'. [24:31] (khimaar, being a decent dress, a coat, a shawl, a shirt, a blouse, a scarf, a covering . . .anything that does not express shamelessness etc.) "They shall not strike their feet when they walk in order to shake and reveal certain details of their bodies"._ 24:31 There shall be no compulsion in religion: the right way is now distinct from the wrong way. Anyone who denounces the devil and believes in Allah-the-One and Only-Almighty- God has grasped the strongest bond; one that never breaks. Allah is Hearer, Omniscient (possessing ultimate knowledge of blessings)._2:256.
