Quranic disasters and the underwear verseReader comment on item: My Burqa Debate with Martha Nussbaum Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Feb 20, 2013 at 10:32 It seems that Allah is in the underwear business as you shall see and for both sexes; The BEST garment is righteousness and modest conduct (7:26). That is not what this little gem says Well let us see what your so called Allah says in Arabic يبني ادم قد انزلنا عليكم لباسا يواري سواتكم وريشا ولباس التقوى or: 1. يبني ادم قد انزلنا عليكم or O children of Adam we lowered to you 2. لباسا or UNDERWEAR yes underwear so now I know that let us say "Fruits of the loom" is onwed by Allah 3. يواري means to cover 4. سواتكم means and you must pardon me your pubic area 5. وريشا this word is a strange word as it really means feathers but it was too embarrassing for Muslims that man and woman kind should be wearing underwear made of feathers so they tell us that it really means beautiful and here is the meaning feathers and all from and Arabic dictionary if you can read Arabic http://www.almaany.com/home.php?language=arabic&lang_name=%D8%B9%D8%B1%D8%A8%D9%8A&word=%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%A7%D8%B4 What a disaster Allah is asking Muslims to wear underwear made of the feathers of birds 6. ولباس التقوى or the underwear of restraint from what is evil What a disaster 1. It seems that Allah creates human being naked then he goes ooops I Allah made a mistake and they need to wear underwear 2. Then Allah makes the underwear which makes him the onwer of let us say "Fruits of the loom" and then he sends it to man/womankind. Sobanallah and how does he send it? Let me guess via al-buraq? 3. And he asks human beings to wear underwear made of feathers to cover their pubic areas! I'm not the one who is saying that Now do you see why your translation is ridiculous and so are you
