Most intelligent statement of Obama's

Obama's statement of July 1 strikes me as the most intelligent thing I have ever heard from him. He brings rare (for him) clarity to an issue.

Too bad most thinking people already know this. I wonder who his real audience was. My guess would be the MSM, who are the last to come to grips with most issues and generally speaking need an education on many basic ideas.
