Netanyahu's release of 104 thugs and murderers (none of whom have revealed any remorse or desire to change their ways) is a major disappointment. Only pressure from the feckless obama administration could have accomplished this disgrace. I was in Israel last month and the reaction to the release is a combination of bewilderment and horror. Everyone, including Israeli Arabs, understands that the gesture will not achieve anything except more contempt for Netanyahu. The palestinians sniff appeasement and that will only encourage more demands and more terror. Danny Danon may become prime minister sooner than he thought possible.
