Do not be hastyReader comment on item: The Right Moment for Israel's Danny Danon? Submitted by yuval Brandstetter MD (Israel), Aug 8, 2013 at 11:29 It is easy to be principled when you do not have the responsibility. It is easy to let words fly if you do not need to back them up with action. It is easy to flout words of bragaccio if you do not have the full weight of Israel's fate on your shoulders. It is easy to call out the leader of the coalition made up of of wildly differing political outlooks from the safety of one's well-entrenched ideological position. When Danon faces Obama with the fate of Israel sitting squarely on his head, he might not be so brave and straight-shooting. He is a gifted politician, which means he may get there, but once there steel melts in the fierce fire of American pressure crucible. As for those 104 murderers. It does absolutely no good to keep them well protected, well fed, and brimming with implied legitimacy splendor and charisma by their jail-bound status. Its so much better to let them go, and fry them in the field, american style.
