Maximizing the use of Government welfare programsReader comment on item: The United States Government, Still the Patron of Islam Submitted by Prashant (United States), Sep 24, 2013 at 21:57 Dear Dr Pipes, DNM asked what does National Park Service have to do with Islam or status of women in Islam. I have been told that in Muslim mosques and cultural centers in free democracies, "expert help" is available to help the umma take maxumum advantage of government programs. So while most communities may be lazy or indifferent toward using these programs, Islamic Umma may have expert help available so the community can pick the freebies. There is nothing illlegal about it and it could be a recommended 'Taqiya' strategy. So if a Muslim group finds a situation under which a video can be put on the NPS website, they will do it. Ironically, most other people in the world are not advertising their religions and serving it much any more. Only Muslims are. It is an imbalance but I do not know whether I will recommend that we all should continuously and individually blow our own trumpets or we should expect Muslims to be more cosmopolitan. When it comes to the said video, NPS must remove them from whereever they are. NPS has no business advertising any religion.
