The linkage has to do with the biblical verse " Those who bless Israel will be blessed...."Reader comment on item: Endorsements of the Arab-Israeli "Linkage" Theory Submitted by Jay Abouaf (Israel), Oct 1, 2013 at 02:21 In a sense one can draw a linkage between the Arab Israeli conflict and the rest of the problems in the Middle East. For if the Arabs and Muslims were to say, and desire, to bless Israel instead of cursing us, Peace would spread throughout the Middle East. For surely if they (the Arab nations) could wish Israel well, it would be infinitely easier to get along with each other. [ Not to mention that Israel would be able to help it's neighbors help themselves with many of their basic needs, and there would be a great rush of invention and development; the Arabs could have exciting and positive things to think about other than violence ]. Nothing actually material would have to happen; the Arabs would just need to be unbrainwashed and have a change of heart.
