Antisemitism would not exist without linkageReader comment on item: Endorsements of the Arab-Israeli "Linkage" Theory Submitted by Moderate Pragmatist (United States), Aug 14, 2016 at 16:32 Look at all the antisemitic theories, ideas and opinions out there and the most common feature to them all is that they use the same idea of linkage but to a more expansive and nefarious extent. Jews are linked by antisemites to many of the difficult to explain ills in society and the world. The mainstream left may not be antisemitic but this false acceptance of linkage to all middle east problems certainly flirts with antisemitism. Back in the day did anyone ever blame all of Britain's and Europe's problems on the Irish? Its so stupid. People get away with labeling a well meaning unbiased person as a racist if they link a societal ill to any minority unless its the Jews. A major political figure can blame the Jews for contributing to all of the Middle East's problems and not have his or her reputation tarnished.
