A possible solution to the problems of us allReader comment on item: Cyprus Joins the Middle East Submitted by Alexandros (United Kingdom), Nov 10, 2013 at 21:03 Right now in the Region from the Balkans to Iran, there is a huge conflict going on, a conflict that could end up really badly for everyone. The cause for this problem is clearly Islamic fundamentalism, either Shiia or Sunni, in combination with extremistic nationalism from the Islamic countries and mainly Turkey! It is clear that Turkey has stirred up the whole region, by taking advantage of the Indian-Pacific ocean pivot of America and the financial crisis and the mistakes that the American governments have been doing for 20 years now, which all together have led to the absence of America from our region or the distant approach of America towards this situation! The result is that other powers are trying to cover the gap that the American absence is leaving, like Russia and definitely Germany, powers which can be manipulated from the Islamic fundamentalism Shiia and Sunni respectively. I think that the desicion has been taken, America is leaving the region, China is the main opponent from now on and i could n't blame America for such a decision and by America i mean the American Government. For what i blame them though is for who they have decided to leave behind as a supervisor of the region. Is it possible that they have decided to leave Turkey and how did they get convinced for such a thing? Turkey convinced America for such a thing. They convinced them by saying that the Islamic populations under the neo-Ottoman rule from Balkans to Iran will work for the American interests, because on the one hand at the Balkans the Orthodox would look towards Russia and the Catholics will look towards Germany and on the other hand Turkey will be the example for the Arab populations so that it will bring democracy upon the Arab people, which is good for Israel as well. And that was it, America fell for that and left Turkey alone to try and build the neo-Ottoman empire something which does not yet have a clear formation, but the target is that it will work only for the Turkish interests, by tricking the Americans that they are working for them as well. First of all the plan is not going that good at the moment, but there are some aspects of it, that have been working out. Turkey and especially the neo-Ottomans have an obsession against the Orthodox populations and especially against the Greeks, because they know deep down that all their land is the mother land of the Greeks and as long as Greeks exist, the legal owners of their land exist, also because they want to control fully the east Mediterranean and the passage of Aegean, as Robert Kaplan recently said, whoever controls Greece, probably is able to control the whole of Eurasia. So what they have done is that they support all countries in the region, which are willing to go against Greece, mainly the Albanian Islamists and the people of FYROM. The controversy in all this is that the government of FYROM does not see the threat that the Albanians are for them, but believe that they will collaborate with them and Turkey against Greece. Also they managed to isolate Serbia and unbrace it with the eulogy of America and by creating the puppet countries of Bosnia and Kossovo! What the Americans did n't manage to understand though is that Germany took advantage of the situation and is trying because of the financial crisis in Greece and Cyprus, which clearly favors the puproses of Germany, to create two protectorates of hers, which will be fully controled from Berlin with the final goal to be able to negotiate with Turkey, a historic ally of Germany, so to share the rule on the Balkan region and creating a 4th German Reich along with the neo-Ottoman rule. Even though Russia seems to be actually out from the Balkan region, the situation is not exactly like that since Germany's energy needs are completely under the Russian control. The result is instead of isolating Russia and keeping the region under American control, through Turkey, the Americans actually helped Russia, Turkey and Germany to co-operate so to kick America out of the region and share it among them! Well Done American government! Second, Turkey had an alliance with Israel, which seemed to be strategic, but it was only a matter of time until Turkey would show it's real face! Turkey likes Israel as long as Israel is willing to be a neo-Ottoman province. If Turkey wanted to set an example for the Arab world, they had to break ties with Israel, if Turkey wanted her neo-Ottoman dream to succeed had to break ties with Israel. Of course the "democratic" example that Turkey means to set to the Arab world exhausts on the issue of elections, all the rest is left aside as happens in Turkey as well. So the true goal is to put in the Arab countries Islamic regimes, which will favor Turkey, because of it's help and ultimately to surround Israel, the only dangerous coutry in the region and the easiest target, since all Islamists purely hate Israel. A major part of this plan is to solve the issue of Cyprus. For this reason Turkey has implicated in the Palestine issue, hoping to force Israel with the Palestine issue so that the Israeli government will also convince the Cypriot government to step back and accept the Turkish occupation and compromise with the Turkish aggressivenes. The cheese is the profits from the gas, since a solution in Cyprus would mean that Israel could supply Europe through Cyprus, after the solution, and Turkey, which is the cheapest way, some will go through TAP as well, so the Greeks will be also conviced, the trap though is that a Cyrpus having accepted the Turkish demands will be a puppet country, a country controled by the Turks and the Germans and Israel will be fully surrounded and controlled by Turkey, since Israel will have lost the strategic depth Cyprus could have given and also the connection between Greece and Israel will be broken and the Israeli gas will be going through Turkey! The plan is not going good in Syria though and that is because the Russians are not convinced that the overthrough of Assad will be painless for them, but in the end Assad is a fanatic antizionist, so Israel is scared both ways and he can n't really cause serious problems to Turkey, unless he is ready to sacrifise his Queen, which is the South-West Kurdistan. Iran is a player that has power as long as it is connected with Hezbollah and Assad's regime, but they are all anti-zionists and fail actually to see, that their main problem is Turkey! Saudi Arabia, which was collaborating with Turkey in this plan, now seems to be a bit frustrated since there have been revealed some plans which threaten the royal family and in addition Israel also fails to see the full view of the Turkish threat, since it is Threatened from all the other players as well. Turkey is effectively using the divide and rule strategy so to turn everyone against everyone and actually stay out of trouble! In my opinion what has to be done is clear. Greece-Cyprus and Israel can not wait for America and also they can not leave their fates to others. Collaboration, strong collaboration, which could become a strategic alliance is necessary. Those three together are more than enough to take down Turkey, not necessarily by the use of force, but if necessary then...It is clear that Turkey is not interested in any kind of collaboration, Turkey wants what always wanted, to conquer, whoever does not see that is blind! The problem is are the three governments ready to plan such an alliance, are they willing to keep an honest attitude against each other and support each other without compromises? I am not talking about acting like bullies or threatening everyone in the region, i am talking about a well planned reaction against anyone that might threat the safety of the three countries and the strengthen of the collaboration in all fields!
