Predictions and Biblical archetypes

Could the outbreak of WW III be on the 47th anniversary of the Six Day War in June 1967? Will Sunnis/Shiate blood letting spread to the west. ISIS is acting out The Torah's description of Ishamel in Genesis 16:12 (father of the Arabs and Muslims) as a "pera adam" translated as a wild ass of a man or a savage with his hand against against his brothers and his brothers against him. This Islamic fratricide will continue to spiral and cause misery; perhaps even mass death from lack of water, sanitation, food, or flooding (if the dams break or are sabotaged). Or all ofthe above. The BIG LIE of the progressives, Left, and Muslims that Israel is the root cause of Mid East instability is collapsing. Unlike Mr Pipes, I don't see Jordan falling any time soon. The US blood and Treasure invested in nation building in Iraq is toast. And the US economy will continue to suffer from debt, insecurity, the legacy of Bush/Obama mistakes and Obama's ongoing lack of clearly articulated logical policies.

There is no political or conventional military solution. All forms of Islamic extremism are bad but as long as Shia and Sunni fight each other with ISIS and radical Sunnis and Iran and its Shia allies (including Shia minorities in Arab countries and Pakistan). The US should let them alone and keep the fighting contained as an expedient but it will fail. In some ways the 1980-88 war between Iraq and Iran is a model but that conflict did not spill over too much and the WW III conflict hat just started will spread worldwide, including Sunni/Shiate terror in the west (gang fights on speed with bombs).

The Chicago Community Organizer in Chief will continue to vacillate and fail as as a leader. This conflict will spread to regional and likely involve a Turkish Saudi alliance against Iran, Shiism, and elements of ISIS. And an alliance of Shia in Iran, Iraq, Hezbolla, the oil rich parts of Saudi Arabia, and elsewhere. A large Kurdistan will emerge as the most stable part of the former Iraq. Pipes is right: the post WW I mideast borders (drawn by Britain and France) will go into the dustbin of history.

I also predict an emerging vicious semi virtual caliphate that includes territory and terror controlled by ISIS, Boko Harem, the Taliban, and similar loose groups and people who represent the archetype of pera adam. A useful metaphor is ISIS is a rapidly spreading unpredictible cancer which needs to be controlled with emergency radiation therapy and radical surgery for disease control. IRAN is a slower growing malignant tumor. Each has already metastasized but IRAN is better differentiated/centralized and ISIS has more virulence factors and aggressive features.

We are witnesses to a God size problem and it require a God size solution (or the decision to use a large area hydrogen bombs for ISIS control but that would also spike oil for a while, have serious side effects, and help Iran, unless Israel decided to end Iran's nuke programs.) The UN will fail again. Pray for Moshiach and a Divinely inspired but also invest and in oil and precious metals.
