More Lines on a Map of Serious Consequences

It would seem that labeling 'terrorists' as individuals or groups as beings of limited intelligence would not quite fit the paradigm as imagined here. If the 'war on terror' has taught anything, it has taught that manipulation of supranational interests is not limited to functionaries of the UN or other NGO's that claim special knowledge of world views and the implementation of feckless policies have very telling effects over those same interests. To qualify the actions of the Levant marauders as a small theater action is to miss the overreaching implications of just exactly is happening; something it appears the American Administrative is wont to do for reasons currently left to the speculation of hidden motives.

That, however, is not what is being perpetrated and Iraq, for all of its turbulent history, is once again front line and center as a diversion at minimum; and catalytic for further changes in the Middle east spectrum that will be cause for more ranging war time strategies too few are understanding. It is not merely a sectarian rift of tribal issues this time; a greater outcome is being targeted and some have suggested, and not necessarily wrongly so, that the 'ummah' of the Middle East is on the horizon.

Now suggesting the ISIL(S) is attempting to be that force for that result is premature at this time; but it could certainly lead to such a result if left unchecked. The outside players are not yet defined so clearly from a worldwide point of view, yet certain alliances have already been identified for further speculation of just exactly what is happening. For some, there is an ever increasingly hard time to refrain from the purported 'Biblical' implications, but this is a time when a argument of such sorts are screaming for just exactly that result.

The previous author seems to suggest that Islamism can be 'quarantined' and that is not going to happen. Indeed, if anything, the Middle East might be on the threshold of history and the shackles of the 'mapping' perpetrated upon the region last century are on the verge of complete disintegration; and that is what the out-of-control sectarian fighting might actually seek to be doing. Yet, Iran will not sit idly by as the Sunni influenced ISIL pushes towards the non-Arab sphere Iran has so fervently tried to put into place with the al-Maliki regime.
