Q9:29, ISIS the Christians of Mosul Iraq and al-Jizya aka the mafia tax

Hi MWA

I'm sure you must be aware by now that almost all Christians in Mosul have left the city because the leadership of the terrorist group ISIS have given them until this past Saturday to leave or they can have the following options

1. Convert to Islam

2. Be killed

3. Or pay the mafia tax aka al-Jizya

And all you need to do is turn to Q9:29 also known as ayat al-Jizya and here is the verse from the Qur'an in Arabic with a translation

And that is indeed what the verse says which makes the members of ISIS as the real Muslims

Even the clueless dhimmis at the Washington Post have an article about this disaster

But this is not the end of it now some clueless Muslim apologists tell us but al-Jiaza is only one Dinar

Well let us see what al-Qurtubi tells us about how much is this mafia tax aka al-Jiaza

This is what he says

أَنَّ الطَّبَرِيّ قَالَ : أَقَلّه دِينَار وَأَكْثَره لَا حَدّ لَهُ

Or and al-Tabari said that the minimum is one dinar and the maximum is UNLIMITED (or sky is the limit)

That is what their sources tell us which means that any Muslim who claims that it is only one dinar is either a liar or he is ignorant

It also means that Christians should leave because they might be able to afford it today but sky would be the limit tomorrow

You will also hear from Muslims that why should Christians not pay a mafia tax after all Muslims also have to pay al-Zakat but there is a big difference here as in Q9:29 it says that those that have to pay al-Jizya should pay it

1. عن يد these two words 3an Yad have no clear meaning the literal meaning is Upon Hand what ever that is now enter al-Tabari who fixes this very poor Arabic and he tells us that it should be

{ عَنْ يَد } فَإِنَّهُ يَعْنِي : مِنْ يَده إِلَى يَد مَنْ يَدْفَعهُ إِلَيْهِ

Or 3An Yad (sic) this means from his hand (the dhimmi) to the hand from who is forcing him to (him)

What a disater al-Tabari is fixing Allah's poor Arabic

2. Then this vile verse says

وهم صاغرون

Or and they (the dhimmis) are subjected to submission (subdued)

Which really means that the dhimmis should be humiliated and beaten on the back of the neck when paying this mafia tax

It is all in black and white

And yes it is very painful but I would tell the Christians of Mosul to leave Mosul and leave these barbarians
