US firepower at work -- killing KurdsReader comment on item: Thinking about Kurdistan Submitted by Michael S. (United States), Sep 26, 2014 at 20:31 All those millions and billions of dollars we poured into Iraq: http://www.ekurd.net/mismas/articles/misc2014/9/turkey5121.jpg Now it's being used to attack the Kurds in Syria. The Turks, meanwhile, our NATO "allies" (ha ha), are sitting idly by as ISIS advances right next to their border, is preventing the Kurds from receiving weapons, and is hindering Kurdish volunteers who want to cross and protect Kobane from the ISIS attack. and the allied airstrikes are... where? I am getting SICK AND TIRED of a US President who PRETENDS to be fighting ISIS; all the while, our presumed "allies" are sitting at the border, watching ISIS (US-supplied) tanks decimate people who are presumably our friends.
