News, horror movie, news... choices, choicesReader comment on item: Thinking about Kurdistan Submitted by Michael S. (United States), Oct 17, 2014 at 02:50 Hi, Tovey Keep those Bible verses coming! When I study on my own, I tend to get into a rut -- my Bible keeps flopping open at the same places. Zephaniah... Have you ever checked these readings, to see what time they were for?
This prophecy was given shortly before Samaria fell to the Assyrians. How you seriously believe this prophecy was for 2014, is beyond me. The next thing you know, you'll be reading Genesis and "discover" that God wants us to build an ark! Arab "Palestine" has never been, and likely will never be, a nation. The Arabs living there are Syrians, Jordanians and Egyptians. Concerning events happening on the very special full moon, they certainly were EVENTS -- which tend to happen at full moons, especially eclipses. I've been checking the news, and it's rather quiet today -- and mostly just outworkings of significant things that happened at the new moon: A lunar eclipse on the very start of the feast of Sukkot. Here's follow-through on those events:
The upshot of it all, is that new things seemed to be happening around the full moon; but now they're back to a more usual tedium. You know -- brave Kurdish women fighting for their lives in Kobane, ebola accelerateing in three countries and spreading to others, a full-blown proxy war in Libya, Pakistanis hating Indians, blood, blood and more blood -- the usual. I'm ready for something light -- maybe a horror movie. Shalom shalom.
