Footstool Commentaries IIReader comment on item: Russia and the Middle East: A tour d'horizon Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Feb 5, 2015 at 15:35 Not wanting to get away from sharing certain scriptural insights by allowing some of it to get into debate, I am yet admonished to make sure that scripture is not configured to man's interpretation and to also ensure that all scripture is understood by the Spirit by which it is given. That being said, an admonition is brewing. By certain scriptural precepts, there is a third temple; the timing of which is viewed differently by various concepts (most of which is skewed by human logic and not by Spiritual discernment), also challenged for its purpose when HaMashiach returns. The third temple will be built and will be ready for His return, after the purge. From a basic Messianic perspective, the Anointed One already fulfilling the shadow of the sacrifices nearly two thousand years ago, there is no more necessity of shedding animal blood - Yeshua already finished that work. The Mercy seat will therefore be the throne upon which Yeshua Ben-David sits. As was mentioned before, prophecy has a near term fulfillment as well as the far term. Isaiah operates in both realms, being precursor and in some instances concurrent with the contemporary in its presentations. Isaiah 61 is the perfect example that Yeshua HaNazaret fulfilled to start, yet to fulfill in Israel's presence of the immediate future as Yeshua HaMashiach. Then King David rose to his feet and said: "Hear me, my brothers and my people. I had it in my heart to build a house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD and for the footstool of our God, and I made preparations for building. 1Chronicles 28:2 The LORD says to my Lord: Israel is not yet ready; but the LORD awaits their awakening.
