Bullying has nothing to do with the conflictReader comment on item: Americans Battle the Arab-Israeli Conflict Submitted by Michael S (United States), Mar 17, 2015 at 15:37 Jonathan Carey, Your "bully" thesis is fine, for the context you present (drunken father, etc.); but it has no relevance to what is going on in Israel. The causes for the enmity between Israel and the "Palestinian" terrorists are the following: 1. An Arab claim to ALL of Israel. The Arab side has repeatedly claimed this. Any "partial" solution, in which the Arabs are given only part of Israel, is considered a temporary solution. 2. The rejection of the Jews as a people, entitled to possess their ancient homeland 3. An American/ European-funded and Israeli-allowed propaganda campaign by the Palestinian Authority, indoctrinating the entire younger generation to hate Jews. There are other reasons, but these suffice. Note that "bullying" has no part of any of them.
