Yossi Beilin's "Confederation" PlanReader comment on item: Give Up on the Two-State Solution? Other Ideas Submitted by PezDispenser (Israel), May 18, 2015 at 11:45 Dr. Pipes, Yossi Beilin seems to be tired of his Oslo Accords concoction and so today comes out with a "confederation" plan in the NY Times: http://www.nytimes.com/2015/05/15/opinion/yossi-beilin-a-confederation-for-peace.html?_r=0 Is this word "confederation" in the Israeli-PA context just a sneaky euphemism for the one-state solution or just another good intentioned yet hare-brained utopian idea courtesy of the Israeli post-Zionist elite? P.S. Beilin mentioned his negotiating partner Husseini, yet the former forgot to mention that before Husseini passed away the latter called the Oslo Accords the Palestinian Trojan Horse!
