On the Anti-Semitism Behind the Two-State SolutionReader comment on item: Give Up on the Two-State Solution? Other Ideas Submitted by Ludvikus (United States), Jan 9, 2018 at 10:44 The discourse behind the 2-State Solution has been plagued by an unexposed Racist presumption. I say "Racist" because "anti-Semitism" I view a the particular form of Race hatred historically experienced by Jews. The presumption involves of course the interpretation of Population "Transfer" into post-1967 Territory in accordance with its alleged illegality under the Fourth Geneva Convention. However, there is in fact no reason why there cannot be a another State carved out of Palestine with Jews in it also, as is the case in Israel where Arabs make up a substantial minority. The world presumes that it isn't in fact ETHNIC CLEANSING if Jews are permitted to Settle in the West Bank; in fact, the assumed policy is that the news Palestinian State is to be Judenrein - Free of Jews. But in fact there is no reason why a Third Palestinian State (Jordan being the Second already) - but with a minority Jewish Population. What really is most surprising is the fact that Israelis and Jews do not consider this argument - probably because they can only imagine a Greater Israel - incorporating most of the Settlements into Israel. There is no effort to consider reversing the Ethnic Cleansing of Jews from Arab Muslim and Christian states. Accordingly, I recommend the revival of the 2-state solution - but with the Caveat that Jews be granted an equal right to Settlement. It is important to observe the context in which Abbas refused peace negotiation - he insisted on the precondition that now Jews, or Israelis, establish Settlements during Negotiations. He should have been confronted with the now obvious question, "Why must a Second State be Free of Jews?
