It is no surpriseReader comment on item: That Failed Philadelphia "Islamic Jew-Hatred" Bus Ad Submitted by Prashant (United States), May 26, 2015 at 20:04 Dear Dr Pipes, it is not a surprise that ads in Philadelphia in support of Jews and Israel got a backlash. Don't we know that conversion to Islam increased afterr 9/11? Most people have difficulty in understanding simple concepts involving symmetry, reciprocity and scale. People can be told that there are cities in Saudi Arabia that non-Muslims are not allowed to enter and they will not find anything wrong in that. But these same people will cry discrimination if Jerusalem were to be declared a Jew-only city. Now you go figure! Similarly, people can be told that about 50 Israels can be created in the area of land to which ISIS is bringing daily dose of murders and mayhem and people will continue their deep slumbers. But they will cry injustice if anything good is constructed in Golan Heights or Gaza Strip. If only there was a way that Israel could rule the land that ISIS is destroying!
