Knock, knock, knocking at the Nuclear Door

The lid to Pandora's Box, a euphemism for the circumstances now laid bare before a world so deluded into thinking there are terms for peace at hand when the lid is opened, when in fact the key to a nuclear showdown is all that has been turned and the box has been made ready to release its deadly contents. All that remains is to see who will open it.
