What if the Iran deal is a smokescreen?Reader comment on item: Obama's Iran Deal Has the Makings of a Catastrophe Submitted by Howard Brown (United States), Jul 25, 2015 at 13:45 What if the Iran deal is just a smokescreen? By unilaterally submitting the signed deal to the UN Security Council, Obama the world citizen has cleverly submitted the US to the rule of Iran and the UN Security Council for the next 10 years without the consent of the governed ("we the people"). This would be the real reason he unilaterally created an "executive agreement" in this matter of treaty obligations. In a stroke of his pen we have submitted to world government. In the matter of Iran we are no longer a sovereign country, by sole decree of the President of the US. What if this was the real goal from the beginning? Is this why he was willing to "accept any deal"? – the content being secondary to the punch line. Who will go before the Supreme Court to demand this "executive agreement" be declared null and void? Which Democrat and Republican will together submit a bill of impeachment for this extra-legal and unconstitutional abuse of power? I believe these are the real issues we are facing. The fight over the content of the Iran bill is a distraction intentionally created to divert our attention from the constitutional crisis we should be looking at.
