Many Copts like myself have looked at the West especially the United States as a beacon of Justice and Freedom with all the trimmings like human rights ,freedom of speech and a safe heaven to raise your family .I was very disilusioned when on my way to Cyprus via JFK .New York i was detained by Homeland Security as personna non-grata -their reasoning was an incident that occured in Revelstoke ,BritishColumbia ,Canada over a canibus [ROACH] less than a quarter of a gram ;that i recieved a pardon from the Canadian Government ;over thity four years ago.

After contacting my father who happens to be a strong Reagan Republican with Congressional Medals among other achievements ;and the fact that i was in 1969 drafted and went to boot camp in Goshen New York .and was ready to die for my Country;and worked and took my apprentiship inColorado Springs,i worked for NORAD H eadquarters for several years ;they changed their tone and decided to push me in my wheelchair minutes before the plane left;with the intention to go to the US Embassy to get my American Passport. on my arrival back to Canada / i Ifollowed suit and got the pictures ,paid the fees ,etc. and was refused a passport and treated like i was a terrorist -their reasnning this time was that i could not get the Original Egyptian Birth Certificate ;that aparently after going several times to the Egyptian Embassy was told that the building in Cairo was partially burned to the ground by the Moubros under President Morsi and i had to go to a lot of redtape and many fees to recuperate any documents

-So i re-stated that my father who[God bless him] has not only delivered me as i was veryy premature ,but also was the Public healthphysician that signed the document and he is still around for them to verify it -but not to disturb him as he is one hundred and two years old.they checked on everything and were very sarcastic as to military record ,like who was my Seargent in Goshen and as if i was making things out.It is very obvious to me that if my dad was a Democrat and my name was Mohammed Mubros ;i would have been invited to the White House and received my passport without any hassles.
