At the heart of our Western criminal legal tradition is the notion of intent, aka mens-rea or guilty mind.

At the heart of Eastern, islamic criminal tradition, is the exact opposite: "Allah's" predetermined force.

"The Allah Made Me Do It" might as well be sharia's #1 get-out-of-hell alibi to excuse all their crimes.

So chances are, if these crimes were committed for any reason, "Jihad For Allah" would be invoked.

Accepting a confession without indicating intent, or covering it up, shows prosecutorial delinquency.
