The Qur'an? It prescribes what is to be done by Muslims and these prescriptions are good for all times and all places. Muslims are stuck with the fact that the Qur'an is Allah's last revelation This means that beheading is Islamic and good for all times and all places

The way out? Is to reform Islam and follow al-Mu'tazila that the Qur'an was written at a point in time and its not good for all places at all times It is also time that Muslims should reconsider the fact that they need to have a Muslim Pope. It is very interesting that in very early Islam al-Khalifa was called Khalifat Allah which means that al-Khalifa would have been not unlike a Pope. And this is indeed what you will find in Shia Islam A Pope can lead the Singha (wonderful Buddhist term) No Pope means it is an open season for crazy people Daish inculded
